I know this isn't exactly a Datsun forum but I figured since I'm swapping in an SR20DET S13 there might be a few people interested or that could share some expertise.


This was the truck when I picked it up the first day.


Completely stripped the cab floor and painted with black rust proof paint.


Entire interior was sound deadened, Audi a4 power heated seats installed and mounted, and the start of the sound system. System is a kicker 15L7 with 1600 watts. Rest of speakers to come soon.


Seats and custom sub enclosure is barley noticed. Hit 148 db's.


Lowered on 18s and this is how it's currently sitting.

Now the best part, just picked up the is sr20 with built head, 260 cam, springs, head studs, 550 injectors, clutch, short shifter and a garret 2871. Previous owner said it put down 300hp on the dyno. It's all there, but very ugly and kinda poorly put together, lots of gaskets have sealant and liquid gasket on them and the waste gate port is crudely welded over.

Hopefully switch to a top mount manifold, external waste gate, billet pulleys, and aftermarket intake manifold before it hits the road.

Other plans, fill coil overs all around, stiff sway bars, lsd, big disk brakes, and a big dirty hydraulic hand brake.

Also what sellers support this forum, before I buy anything I always like to check the ones that support the community.

Holy huge pictures batman! you might want to resize these pictures other than that looks like an interesting start. I always thought about building one of these or an old Toyota Hilux
