Its been a while sense I mess with timming so I cant remember if this is normal

I set it following the FSM...warm the motor up,unplug the tps and IACV/AAC plug(this is the only way I was able to set idle at 750rpms),rev 3 times past 3k,set idle to 750 rpms,adjust the dizzy till its at 20* btc,turn off the car,plug the tps and IACV/AAC plug,but when I go and check the timing it jumps to 15* and idle sits perfect at 750rpm...

BTW:I'm running a JWT 680cc/cobra maf program and safc2

its normal... for a stock car at least.
