Hmmm, I'm torn. I loved the originals, but some of these changes do tie all the movies together better. I'll still buy them, hopefully the changes won't effect them too much.

$51.99 for the set, a good price? Are you nuts!??! I have gotten 3-4 disc dets for 29.99 that have been DAMN good, to the poiunt where I could lose or have them stolen and pay that amount again.... But for 51.99, I will wait a couple months and get this shit on half.com for as little as possible.

Yes sir. Lot of people at the lucas ranch been signing papers to not release info about 7,8, and 9. But two sources from different studios been saying that it will happen, but no real info on them has been release. Also rumor has it that they are talking with the old actors.

There will be no episodes 7-9 ... the whole movies are about the life of Anakin Skywalker, documenting the turning, his rise and fall..... with his death in episode 6, Lucas decided not to make 7-9 , saying that there's too many books out about that time frame and if he makes a movie, he'd either have to make it follow the books or he'd make it and the books would be wrong.......

all that stuff with jacen and jaina and anakin solo is purely from the books. lucas has said before that if he does make episodes 7+, he'll do whatever he wants with no regard to what other authors have written. in other words, everything from heir to the empire -> the young jedi pplz stories will be written out of the official story.

also he's said he's not doing 7, 8 and 9, b/c if he does he's tired of star wars and doesn't want to devote another decade of his life to doing that story (the restoration of the jedi and the republic). he's also said its a weak story to start with and it's currently just a concept in his mind.

edit : the hayden christianson anakin ghost insert has to be a joke, right?
