Yep, Casey is legit. Went above and beyond to help me with the sourcing and installation of my RB25. Will definitely be an epic build, I've been waiting for this thread for awhile

the story with the funding is pretty much. i deployed . saved a bunch of money. paid some bills off and started getting parts shipped home over the course of 9 months. i took no loans or sponsorship. i paid cash for everything. hunted good deals. if i would paid full price for everything i would spent 40k now probably. but i spent half that. instead of watching my bank account grow i wanted to come home and have something to show for my service. cheesy i know. if you ever deployed you would understand. building this one for my dad too. he passed shortly before i left. had to go balls out. had to do it right.. for the one wondering i have 3400 ish into justcoilovers links and knuckles

will have some more pics tomorrow. had the car in the air for the first time. knocked out the rest of my brake lines, driveshaft, and other misc things. confirmed that my $50 OEM Nissan slave cylinder for 05 Maxima was a perfect fit with just spacers and longer bolts.. brakes and clutch are ready to be bled. Finally!
Also my grip royal steering wheel and Uras shifter came in today. Ordered the Uras shifter from RHDJapan. Got it in a week! Happy about that. I recommend the URAS to everyone. It gets rid of the counterweight for more solid direct shifts. its a little longer than stock which placed it exactly where i wanted it. My steering wheel, shifter, bucket are all in perfect position for me. I just have to mount the handbrake yet.. pics tomorrow. |

the turbo lines like the rest of the car were done in my head. the car was built meticulous on paper before i even started. down to the penny i knew how much i was going to be spending. the oil feed was simply a -3 adapter on the turbo with a prefabbed stainless braided hoses with a 90 on one end . getting the length right was tricky but i have a good imagination i guess haha. same with the return . bought a generic t3 oil drain kit but made sure it had all the fittings i needed. worked well i supposed. no custom there. i did the same with all my brake line in the rear as well which i will be posting today.

not a fan of sil80's anymore but i can appreciate the money and time invested. wheels are whats going to make or break this car imo, i just hope you can find something aggressive enough in 4 lug to complete the car and not look out of place.

I'm not a huge fan of Sileighty's or the 6666 kit, but it looks like you're doing them justice. Keep it up.

Very cool build, some baller shit in here. You spent 9 month away, you deserve a well built car.
also, these 17 year old children that come on here trying to tell people what to do...where in your right mind did you mother teach you to walk into someone else's house and tell the owner that their couches didn't match the carpet, or you would have bought a 60 inch tv instead of a 42. GTFO with that shit. Show some respect. None the less, build seems to be about quality, and not necesarrily trying to look like a certain car or like everyone else. Where was the inspiration from? What car did you see and was like, damn I want that but with a NEO motor? lol |

Moar pics.. wtf is this?! Grip Royal wheel was super nice but still have to figure out whats going on here. URAS shifter. Feels SO nice. definately worth 60 bucks more than ISIS. rough shot of the brake lines. they are more tied down that this. wont go anywhere. was sick of dealing with that rear brake tee so i got rid of it completely and put an AN fitting on there. driveshaft fit perfectly. shaftmaster steel 1 piece 310 shipped!! great deal.. everything is in an tight finally. new trans mount was sort of a bitch but its all in. Ready to bleed my brakes and clutch and get this thing running! gah i cant wait. |

that's exciting i'm sure!
yeah I was hoping you weren't going to daily these with xxrs...but then again, what am I talking about, I'm going to daily my car with the exact same xxr's, and drift on my Gramlights. But that's cause I want to show off while drifting, and keep it lower key for the daily. Have you thought what wheels you might end with? I forsee this. |

im really likeing xd9s right now. like i said before the problem is if i go with a 2 piece or three piece wheel like the one you posted it will look like shit because +15 is about the absolute lowest offset i can go.

Looks amazing man!!! Let me know when you're ready for wheels, or anything else for that matter. Glad to finally see this thing come together.
