A/C stopped working

I have a 92 coupe. AC has worked for the last two years but just recently it completely stopped. I think the compressor and everything is still good because it worked about a month ago.

When I push the A/C button, the little light doesn't turn on. And when I turn the defrosters on, it doesn't kick in either. Any ideas?

fuse under the dash is good.

Check how much pressure/freon you have in the system. The AC compressor is designed to have a safety/pressure switch that prevents it from turning on if you dont have enough freon. You might have a leak somewhere and you dont have enough pressure in the system.

If the light isn't coming on - I bet its an electrical issue. Usually the a/c light comes on even if the compressor doesn't kick on afaik.
