SR20 stall when braking/turning + dropping throttle

So if I have the car at like 3k-4k then drop the throttle (clutch in, no more gas), and am braking (sometimes turning + braking) it'll sometimes stall out, like the engine doesn't catch itself. I'm not sure what it is, the only issues I had in the past with the car were power issues with a bad alternator. Could my battery be screwed, and causing this (doesn't make much sense to me)? Or is this something else obvious that I'm missing?

bypass valve- recirculate it. Or delete it. Or tighten it.

If you are non turbo then lol. Check your iacv setting in that case (there is a way to adjust low idle speed with a screwdriver)

I think you're 100% right with the bypass valve. Looking at other symptoms, they line up perfectly. This is my first turbo car, and i'm googling around hunting for answers, but how should I fix this best? I consider myself all stock SR20DET, minus the boost solenoid and some of the EGR stuff, but there's definitely things I could have missed during the swap.
What should I hunt for under the hood, and how should I best fix this to keep the car running right?

Hurp, just realized Bypass valve == Blow Off Valve. Are the stock ones famous for leaking? Or is it more likely that I need to replace a hose?

More research, so I might be a little less of an idiot now. I am currently set up to recirculate, but half the rubber hoses are crust as hell. They might be leaking. I'll try replacing the hoses from intercooler -> BOV and BOV -> intake. There's never harm in new hoses!
