Anyone in the area got an automatic for an s13 240sx laying around they want to unload? It's and RE4R01A. I am looking for one that works as I already have 2 that went junk. My wife broke both of them! I will rebuild at least one of them but for the time being I need something to get this car back on the road for the immediate future until I get one of the other 2 done.

I'm in elk grove and I can get you a tranny. It was working fine before I pulled it for a 5spd swap. The harnesses are cut from it and cooling lines got bent when pulling it. It came from the company Attarco a while ago, not sure how many miles is on it.

Thanks Dennis, I got the overhaul kit Thursday and rebuilt it Friday (the day you posted) I swapped it into the car and so far so good. The second one was from my 5speed swap I did to mine over 8 years ago. I kept the trans just in case. It worked fine before I pulled it from my car. I guess it did not like sitting in the garage for 8 years..lol It lasted all of 24 hrs in her car before it grenade. It was quite catastrophic when it went. She said it violently down shifted by itself when she was doing 65 mph. I pulled the pan on it and it had tons of metal in it. It is not rebuildable I am sure.
I just rebuilt the one originally in her car. Hers is the original trans from new and it made it over 220k before It went.
