F1 Racing clutches and flywheels
Anyone have any experience with them? I'm having nothing but issues with mine. I saw Subaru guys were having good results with them, so I figured I'd give it a shot. My starter grinds the teeth on the flywheel (I think), and the clutch makes this terrible sound when engaging it. I've installed clutches before, so I know that isn't the issue. I'm running the "Stage 3" kit.
Just wanted to know if anyone else is running them without a problem. Thanks! |

#1 rule, don’t buy ebay for anything that directly involves motor or drivetrain. |

if you want to save money hit up a local clutch shop in your area... find a good one, they'll resurface your flywheel and make you a custom disk.
better quality then ebay by far... and often rivals all the top mass produced brands because its made by hand from someone with experience. |

to be more specific
I had an Exedy stage 3 that was worn out, and they distribute for DK and exedy and work mostly with truck transmissions, they resurfaced my flywheel and made me a 6 puck out of kevlar ( I think ), rated to 450ft/lbs. I was happily surprised, and ive had it for about 6 months. with a local clutch shop they can tailor any disk and any material to your horse power needs. I kept my pressure plate and total it cost me 180 "savannah clutch", savannah GA |

they dont actually repair it, they used mine as a template to make a new one.
my exedy was sprung so they made another sprung 6 puck. they can make unspung disks... but thats if you have a drag car, or something crazy. |
