Review: Forcewerkz S14 Navan Rep Bumper
Navan has always been one of my favorite factory body kits and I've been slowly collecting all of the OEM pieces for the past couple of months. I've been against aftermarket kits for the longest time, but johnlee offered me a deal and I thought to myself, "what the hell..lets give it a try"
Unlike all of the other reps out there, the Forcewerkz Navan bumper is actually made out Polyurethane, meaning it will not crack or split in half due to impact. First Impression: Bumper is super beefy. Material is thick. Finish is extremely smooth. Just to test it out, I flexed the bumper a couple of times. It popped back in place every time, like polyurethane is supposed to. Like, most aftermarket bumpers, the holes needed to be drilled at the pilot points. Most of these points were spot on, with maybe 1 or 2 that were a few millimeters off center. The material was a little harder to drill than fiberglass due to the flexibility and smoothness. The result of the fitment is as follow. Perfect alignment on the right side. It sat flush with both the wheel well and the corner lights. Same deal on the left side, flush with both the wheel well and the cornerlights. Front shot. Looks good. One issue. the Passenger side of the bumper flares out much more than the Driver side. Im assuming this is due to an error in the molding process or storage/transportation temperature. It does seem correctable if its held down underneath with a ziptie, custom bracket, or maybe a heat gun and some bending. Drive side sits nice and flush. If it wasn't for the flaring, I would say this was a perfect rep Navan bumper. Overall i would say this is a great budget Navan bumper that wont break on you. Sitting around 400$ retail ( much less from johnlee). Hope this helps everyone who've been hawking these bumpers. UPDATE: After leaving the bumper in the sun for about a week, the warp corrected itself. Its at the paint shop right now and should be done by the up coming wednesday. UPDATE 2: paint is done for the bumper. It came out awesome Horray for spaceship! Last edited by Rayiens; 11-20-2013 at 08:21 PM.. |

Haha. I left the bumper in the sun for the last week and the warp corrected itself. Going to test fit it again this weekend. If its spot on, I'm going to get it painted
