well...my wallets saying not yet. ive decided to get the car running, fenders rolled/pulled and invest in a valentine V1 before white wheels.

Leave it the wheels alone, get a new hood. and it will be nice and subtle. Less unwanted attention is always good, but white would look good.

I think white looks sweet, I also think gold would be hard, I also like your car the way it is. Take my opinion for what its worth, and that's nothing at all. In the end just pick what you want and tell people who dont like it to walk into oncoming traffic.
