I have an S13 SR20DET redtop, completely stock except intake.

1. Engine feels great but at idle a low pitch rumble comes from the intake filter. Strange.

2. Previous owner put boost gauge in vehicle. I noticed even though the car is not accelerating quickly the gauge shows boost going to 1 bar. It never used to do this until after I simply changed some cracked/leaking vacuum lines. It used to only show it rise to stock boost like half bar (7 psi).

3. If I go full throttle after shifting it backfires and won't move forward as if the turbo is not boosting properly.

4. Fuel economy seems poor.
