i saw an advertisement in a car magazine, but it didn't say the horsepower.   yikes. 15 more hp than a stock N/A Ka24de. i just wonder how it does with the boost turned up. i don't want to discredit the motor just yet.

... fwiw my 2001(.5) VW GTi 1.8T is rated at 150hp and ~170lb/ft (or newton-meters? wait NM is metric...) and that thing is pretty darn fast. Chipped (modified ECU for 1.1bar of boost and more fuel) results in a minimum 30-40hp gain (to wheels -- most advertise 40-50hp gains) putting me near 170hp and a whopping 200 lb-ft of torque to the wheels. that torque is AMAAAAAZZZINNNGGGGG.
too bad the GTi is such a poor handling car.
