lol...

you don't need to rebuild the 13b *that* often

rotaries are very reliable when treated properly

FI rotaries are where you have shorter life expetency, but even then you should hit 100k unless you are making alot of power

Hm.. back to the actual post, I have seen that the price of S14 kouki's have gone down 'drasitically' compared to before. I purchased mine for $8200 last year, and now I see them sold for like $6500.

Yeah i was about to start buying a kouki front end but i still wanted to keep my zenki end. When i noticed that the prices on them had dropped fast i said i can probably buy one instead. If you think about it its realistic since a 97 kouki is now 8 years old. For some reason everytime i see a car that 95+ i dont picture it that old but it is and every car devaluates.

They are hard to find but you can find them they aint that expensive. Or just get a old lady scared a bit. Like in a state where it snows. Be "just sell me your car... have you ever driven in the snow and your car goes sideways and loose control while turning?.. yes.. well with $3000 you can buy yourself a safer car".

I had neighbors in cali who had some cool cars back in the day. Like some old lady had this really clean ae86 that i never knew what it was just looked like another really old pos. Then when i found out what it was 3 years ago she had traded it in for a toyota echo a month before. Find old people and offer them $200 for those cool rwd cars.

then tune it properly.

if you consider a slow and sloppy car a sports car just because it has two doors and, *OMFG* is rear wheel drive then you probably don't drive many sports cars. not bashing the 240, i have an S14 and i love it, but i don't have any dillusions as to what it is. that's all i have to say about that.

i see more and more 240s on the road. the price has stayed about the same as far as i can tell, a few people try and gouge you, but you can find deals like always. what we need to do is convince people that scions are the coolest cars ever so they all flock thataway.

Prices never rose here on the east coast, but good cars got scarce.

The cheap S14s I'm seeing now are the same junky auto-trans cars that were cheap back when I got my first S-chassis car in 2001.
