People on here talking about the "big inefficiencies" don't know jack about turbo machinery.

Those chips aren't enough to adversely affect the compression process - RUN THE THING, IT IS FINE.

I've seen worse compressors come out of $60 million fighter jets from a little water getting past the water separator. Also a good example of why pre-turbo water injection is a bad idea.

so i drove an hour from stockton to saacramento and picked up the turbo for 550. No shaft play on turbo. turbo is really clean, except for a bit of gasket residue from turbo manifold to turbo. Also, it did not come with wastegate. emailed 240sx motoring for the wastegate and he quoted $75 bucks.

Also, buyer mentioned something about stock t28 wastegate fits, because of the curvature of the rod??? Input if it will work, and where i can get a wastegate for it.

Stock T28 wastegate should work, but the HKS adjustable is <$100 and is great ~ if you had to buy one, buy the HKS one.
