Coolant temp, tach, speedo not working

Long story short, I did an Sr swap, it crapped out so I put the Ka back in so I could drive my car.

When I took the Ka out I only unplugged what was necessary to get the engine out and I pulled the harness out of the firewall with it. Likewise when I put the engine back in, I plugged everything back up, and ran the eccs (ecu) harness back through the firewall just like before. The engine literally came out of the car, sat on a pallet for 2 weeks covered up, and went back in. Nothing was touched other than the water temp sender and I replaced that.

My problem is that my water temp, tach, and speedo (as well as cruise control) do not work now.
I've gone through the FSM a hundred times and can't seem to find anything out of place between my harness and the diagrams in there.

Does anyone know why my gauges worked with the Sr swap but don't with my stock ka!?

Did you disconnect your battery when you swapped back? Are you sure you plugged in everything and made sure all grounds were grounded? Check fuses?

I did disconnect the battery.
The only grounds that I know of are the one on the back of the head, 2 on the intake manifold and one on the exhaust manifold. The starter and alternator both have grounds to them too
I have checked all my fuses as well.

I did discover that my alternator is dying, car wouldn't start and when I did get it started, the alternator was "putting out" 10.48 volts and was slowly declining... yay. I have an Sr alternator that I'm told I can swap the pulley with my Ka alt. and throw it on, so we'll see how that works out tomorrow

The F3 plug correct?
I reseated it and reseated it again with no change in anything...

One thing to note is that my alternator died right after I got the Ka back in the car, I'm hoping that since the car was running on 12 volts or less that maybe the gauges were the first things to go
