Hey guys, sorry if there is a thread somewhere within the archives of this forum, but I've searched and found nothing that I can really relate to.

I bought a Greddy RZ BOV thats been plumbed for recirculation and I'm getting a flutter like crazy. To some people its the best thing in the world, to myself, I'd prefer to have the typical "psssh" sound. So I've googled and googled for the past couple of days and have found that there are 2 springs inside of the BOV, and people say to remove the soft spring and put it all back together then to loosen the adjustment screw on top of the BOV. Done done and done. Still getting flutter and I've even gone as far as taking the adjustment screw all the way out and threading in only till I feel resistance then plus a quarter turn just to make sure.

Can anyone help a guy out? If it makes any difference I have a Nissan S15 Spec R, stock turbo, running about 11.5-12 lbs of boost.

Install the weaker spring. Check you vacuum line. Fill the piping with air and manually pull vacuum on the bov vacuum line. I use a syringe, for that test.
The bov should vent.
After that adjust the bov so its barely leaking at idle, then recirculate it.
