smoke in the vents.....
whenever i would hit full boost i would get burning oil smoke through the vents in my cabin, i replaced the turbo with a gt28rs on my sr20det and today i got on it and i got more smoke in the cabin...but this time it was white and it didn't smell like anything...i looked on the manifold an didn't see any spillage that would cause burning.....so i have no idea what's going on hehe...anybody else have this problem?

do you have AC? If so, is it hooked up (belt installed) and running?

i had a problem like this a while ago and it ended up being my heater core leaking. the coolant was getting all over electrical shit causing smoke to come out of my dash vents.

LOL your car is trying to kill you with second hand smoke.
Check you heater core man its probably toast. If you pressureize your coolant system youll see the leak all over your floor. |

when i picked up my car the previous owner put a small filter by the T in the valve cover which got soaked with oil and dripped onto the manifold which brought smoke into the cabin. make to check all your hoses n shit.

I had the same problem when the piston ring lands cracked in my GT28RS SR. When it would hit boost oil would come out of the T in the valvecover, spill on the manifold and it would come through the vents in the car. Compresion test showed good but when I tore it apart 2 pistons had completely broken the ringlands.
