What's a reasonable price to complete a build from start to finish?

I'm looking into getting in an S chassis and building an SR to ~400whp.

What's an ideal price for completing this build after car, paint, body work, engine work, tune?
Obviously there's a lot of factors, but what would be a good estimate? I want to know how much I'm going to be expecting to spend before I start digging into it.

Cool. That was my guess, too, if everything goes smoothly.

If everythings goes smoothly and you dont have to pay for labor, and you dont go too much into chassis strenghtening / lightening work either.

Your question is way too vague to get a real answer.

Do you plan to rebuild the engine or just slap a turbo on it ? This just change the engine mods price tag from 2000 to 6000$ .

Will you strip the car yourself for the paint, will you have someone do it ? And so on.

10k if you cheap out. 22-25k if you go legit, 30k if you go cheap then go legit.
