s13 S13 Spring rate/Ride Height guide

I have compiled a list of information on as many spring sets as I could find for the s13 240sx. I put it together initially so I could figure out what springs I wanted to get, as there seemed to be no comprehensive listing of spring specs for our cars. I figured that it might be useful to other people as well.

This information in not necessarily complete and/or accurate, however, so I would appreciate any comments on information that I have wrong, so I can update this post. Hopefully I can end up compiling a complete and accurate list for people to use when purchasing springs.

I have listed where the numbers came from manufacturers as well as expected ranges of drop from people who have these springs on their cars. Any input on real-life ride height will be helpful as I will incorporate that in addition to the mfg's spec numbers.

Hmmm... aren't whiteline's rear springs progressive? or is that just the S14 application?

Nice job though! Many of these springs aren't listed in the current archive and some of this information's tough to get (like the rates of the H&R's... WOW rear-stiff!!!! but soft...)

if you haven't already, figure out which ones are already listed, and add the ones that aren't.

Thanks! Extra FAQ info is ALWAYS a big plus!

I added about 4 of those springs to the FAQ page. There seems to be some contention about the Tein S-tech rates. I found the info I listed on their website, but I keep seeing the 3.2 kg/mm front spring rates listed by people. Are we talking about the same spring set, or does Tein have a slightly softer set than the S-Techs listed on their website?

Oh yeah,

I will try to continue to keep an updated list of the spring specs on this link, as I can edit the posts indefinitely on the fresh alloy forum.

http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthre...rt=&PHPSESSID=

If I could edit my posts after 180 minutes, I would continue to update this site as well. But as it stands right now, I don't think a thread with pages full of "NO DONT LISTEN TO THE LAST POST THIS IS THE LATEST UPDATE OF THE LIST...NO REALLY!" would be very fun to read.
