on my auto s13 my trans sometimes wont shift out of first, ill turn the car off and turn t back on and it will be fine. also when driving it will downshift quick then go back. any suggestions on fixing or what the problem is?

have you checked for codes? it could be a bad TPS or a bad VSS. good luck.
