Engine Hoist Rental???
Anyone know where I could rent an engine hoist or maybe someone locally that would be willing to help me out with lending me theirs? I'm in the 818 area and something local would really be beneficial to me.
Big thanks to anyone who's able to help me out.

I know you just wanna rent one... But check out craigslist, that's where I bought mine from. Harbor freight sells them for ultra cheap like $125 or so.
GL I'm sure one of your friends has one... Or a fellow zilvian close to you. |

Sadly I can't buy because I have no place to store it (Apt Complex FTL). Actually the problem I'm in right now is that I bought an engine and tranny and left it at my mom's place. Step-Dad found out about it so now I have to get it out of there.

Vutony, thanks for the great offer, but I have to pass. Just googled your zip code and you're 2 hrs away from me in traffic. I'd probably need to rent out a truck as well since I'm not completely sure if my friend will be able to help me out or not and I'd get raped on the mileage. Really need to keep this local. Thanks again though.

Okay, I was able to find a place that rents engine hoists at a good price. So if anyone needs to ever rent out an engine hoist in the Valley the place is www.bonnersrentals.com. For $30.80 you get an engine hoist for 24 hrs. Dude has a huge list of stuff he rents out plus he also rents out trucks (though U-Haul has better prices).
Thanks to folks that offered help though.

Haha I just went to the website. It's funny how they rent out a bunch of automotive stuff but have a dinner set up as their homepage.
