S13 ka24de timing chain failure
So here it is, i bought this ka24de knowing it had timing chain issues, it was rebuilt 1500 miles ago with all oem parts (except for the timing chain and guides because 700 bucks from nissan) and i pull off the pan to display nice pieces of metal shrapnel from the chain links, now the question is, do i pull the bearing caps off and take a look at all them to ensure that none of the shrapnel made its way inside and scored the brand new oem crank or do i trust that they are ok?
