DIY Kouki Side skirt end cap

This is assuming you have at least one end cap to work with, or a good friend that would let you borrow their end cap for an hour. I had the driver side to work with.

Time:
1-2 hours

What you need:
Material:
-semi-thick piece of plastic. I used the back or a craftsmen storage box.
-gorilla glue (or sumo glue)

Tools:
-Cutting tool (I used a dremel)
-razor blade knife
-Phillips head screw driver
-#10 1" self tapping screw with "10 flat washer
-sand paper, or dremel sanding tool
-Patience when shaping the cap
If I did it again, I would wait to glue it before putting it on the car Cut out the end cap and fit it to the side skirt to make sure there are no gaps. I had to re-glue it because i set it in too far.

I traced out the driver side end cap and cut it out of a piece of the back of a craftsmen tool box. Any semi-thick piece of plastic will do (trash can lid..etc) ***make sure you cut it a little bigger than the trace so you have room to make adjustments if need be. I used a dremel cutting tool to cut the initial shape and a razor blade knife to cut it to its exact size.

it needed to be shaped little by little to make it fit right. its going to take a little trial and error to get the right fit. but here is what it looked like on the side skirt.

gorilla glue foams up a little, so i used a dremel sanding tool to sand down the excess glue.

Here is what it looks like on the car. I used a #10 self tapping screw and washer (same ones used to hold the sideskirt from the bottom) to hold it all in place.

I hope this helps.
