The payment has to be made and the coilovers will be in the US in about a week or so and then we will be shipping them out to you guys. Process was delayed due to a holiday in Japan not too long ago. We do appologize but soon enough you will have your coilovers

a question about the coilovers... maybe im wrong here, but arent arent the spring rates usually stiffer in the back, softer in the front?
Is there a benefit to that setup?

240 springs rates are almost always higher in the front. The car comes that way from the factory. And for the most part every aftermarket manufacturer makes them this way too. I can't see any reason why someone would want softer rates in the front. IIRC most front wheel drive cars have higher rates in the front as well.

with softer rates in the front stiffer in the back the front end would take a nose dive when braking hard, it would probably induce understeer as well as some other things.

thanks, thats what i was thinking too... i guess i have just been reading thigns wrong, Not sure ... ive been looking at numbers like R/F instead of F/R.

UPDATE

The first order has been placed and is on the way and we even have some of the sets of the guys that ordered in Round 2. Right now we are gathering atleast 10 more so that we can get those here. So everyone please be patient while the coilovers arrive. When they arrive here in Indianapolis we will be giving all the customers a call and letting them know they are on the way.

I can look into that directly with KTS.
When you do custom you have to order 30 sets at the same spring rate. That might be something that we do in the future if we get enough interest on one specific spring rate.

As of right now I think you will be able to make it in the Round 2 which we are expecting to end by the second week of January or so since everyone is waiting on Xmas money and all that stuff. Just let us know when you are ready.

Xmas money lmao OMG I wish, the only things I get at christmas are the end of the month bills. If I wasnt getting my car painted with some useless spoilers Krazy glued on it I would love to make the 2nd round of this GB. Maybe if there is a round 3 I will get in on it with slightly higher spring rates.

I will keep you posted, but remember that on the higher spring rates we can do but we will have to get 30 people to get them as well in order to get them only way that KTS will alot us to do that.

Guys as of right now diffrent rates are something we are just not doing, like ive said in the posts above we will need to place of 30 or more for that. As you can see in the updates posted we will have some for the first guys that jumped in Round 2.
