I bought my SR from those guys almost 2 years ago. Still running after 6400 miles and 3 oil changes... The entire motor set was complete and a breeze to drop in. I would go back for sure! Actually planning on going back for an Aristo build!

Haha wow, I completely forgot about this thread and you guys have revived t from the dead >_<! Well here's an update then.
I ended up going to JDM Engine Depot over in NJ, and picked up a blacktop sr they had there. The customer service was simple, straight to the point, I was in and out in no time. Had the motor for about a year and a half now, put on 8k-10k miles and havent had any internal issues. Only thing I've had go bad was the alternator, and the ECU [Dam water leak]. Thanks for the input from anyone who has posted on this thread, I'm sure it will help out others searching as well. |

Just adding to the thread. I got a 3S-GTE from them. It's been running well for the past year but they don't handle their motors with the utmost care. The forklift left a mean dent on the aluminum oil pan so much so that on first startup I realized I had an oil leak. I had to source a replacement oil pan since the cracked one didn't like the warping that comes with welding. Caveat emptor.
