EDU: Kouki S14 Silvia bumper identification.
Point of this thread is to help clarify what came with what / when, etc
This bumper came on every single kouki S14 Silvia. Even on the basest of basemodels, you at least got this bumper (sometimes turnsignals only, not necessarily the foglamps. I took the signals out of this one and packed them away for safekeeping. Here's your Aero package bumper. Same as the first one, but with a lip. With this bumper setup, large holes are drilled through obvious places, so removal of the lip is inadvisable. I'll add pics of those later. The lip CAN be added to the Autech MF-T bumper. Now, the cream of the crop - The Autech MF-T Silvia bumper. This one started life as a regular bumper (the first one), and certain parts were trimmed away by Autech, with a custom grille using R33 turnsignals inserted. The MF-T was sold only in purple, red and white. Special sidenote: This is the ONLY S14 with sidemarkers (look like turnsignals) in the fenders. This bumper is RARE. The Autech model was the most expensive S14 ever sold, and they were only available in limited quantities (the actual figure escapes me). Here's a detail of the holes present on the aero bumper: ...and the cutting performed by Autech: Sidenote: Here are kouki S14 rear valences - |
