ABS 5-lug

I'm a little confused on the front 4 to 5 lug hub swap on ABS s14's. I know to "retain" abs I would need the 5 lug SE w/abs because of the ring. But if I don't care about ABS are you able to use 300z hubs on the front? or are the spinals different and I can only use the ABSs14? If I can only use the ABS 5 lug are you able to use any other ABS 5 lug hubs?

After upgrading your brake system you lose your ABS anyways right? Due to bigger wheels, bigger rotors, bigger calipers??

If you don't care about ABS, any S14 front hub is fine, you'll just unplug the ABS actuator and it won't try and read the front wheel rings. Z32 front hubs don't work for any application, ABS or not.

Upgraded brakes of any kind on an ABS car work fine. I don't know why you'd think differently, the hub ring doesn't change with larger calipers or wheels.

What I meant by the ABS not working properly is because the rotor is larger and the wheel would be larger. The ABS system is made for the stock settings. I was under the impression that with those new variables it would not work properly but as I had said I did not know for sure. Thanks!

It will work fine, the ABS sensor reads the hub, not the rotor/wheel, the hub doesn't change in size, and it only reads for wheel slip anyway from the hub.
