-1 for SSA. 99% of what i hear of them or any ebay brand is shit. but somehow i think ebay is like a game of chance. You're bound to get a bad one, but there's a possiblity you'll get a good one. Take my friend for instance. He bought a ebay turbo *forgot what kind* and it shitted him within a month. He then went to a guy who sold ebay turbos but they were hand pickd and guaranteed to last. So far no problems. Wondering how long it will last....

XS POWER aka SS Autochrome
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH XS POWER/SS AUTOCHROME
I ordered a FMIC kit for my hatch with a CA swap. Kit was supposed to be for a CA but piping was for a SR. Contacted them NUMEROUS times and have ended up eating it. I sent them pictures, descriptions and everything else they requested and they told me to take it to my mechanic for fitment. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SS AUTOCHROME/XS POWER. They sell junk send you junk and treat you like your an idiot when you tell them it doesn't work. I know this is old news for the seasoned veteran but I thought maybe after all these years they would have changed their business practices. I was horribly WRONG! |

along time ago before i learned my lesson, i purchased ssautochrome headers for my SR, it was cheap. i was cheap.
so i installed them. 1month didnt pass and they had cracked already. i took them off. shipped them back to ssautochrome for a refund. i never got one. i didnt get a response from ssautochrome for a month. i sent them 5 emails they had no phone numbers public. so i went on better business bureau and filled a complaint. the next day i got an email from SSA, they asked me for a tracking number, which at this point i lost. no refund. no headers. no money. fuck them. their shit sucks, they suck, and for anyone who says otherwise. fuck you too

This is your typical you get what you pay for.
Not saying that high end product doesn't crack. Ideally your looking at company to stand behind what you are purchasing

I retract my Previous comments.
These products are straight garbage do not buy this crap. No R&D go into making these products I had to dremel out about every hole except one.. I will not be using this POS manifold I will be using the stock one. The top #2 and #5 cylinder bolt hits the manifold Clearance is ridicules id have to pull the manifold if i wanted to remove the valve cover. Also the oil return hose dosent exactly reach so i either need to bend the tube or get a longer hose I sent them an Email and pics about the issues and here is the second manifold they sent me i got this nastyness inside on the runners 4-6... cylinders 4-6 join and run through this section severly restricted compared to the other side

Well unfortunately the companies ignoring a customer when they have a problem and hoping the issue will go away if they ignore you long enough is far too prevalent in the industry today. Makes me wonder how these companies survive with such crappy service! Hey Russ, you should return my calls

i know i am posting on old thread. I ordered a turbo elbow from ssautochrome about a week ago ...didnt hear anything so I emailed them today with my order number and the info on the receipt to ask what the deal was. They then told me they dont have the product I ordered. They have something similar and asked if I would like them to ship that out to me tomorrow..(a fucking week goes by and I have to contact them to find out they dont have it). I told them I need the part by thursday since the dont have what i ordered to send the other style to me and overnight it please (I dont think that would be to much to ask since I ordered a week ago and businesses should try to have good customer service). They said they will not overnight it they rather give me my money back. I wish I would have done a little more research on them. I would not have bought it. I heard about there the craftmanship of the products they sell isnt really the greatest but how much can you mess up a 8 inch pipe with two flanges on it. Obviously they dont give a shit about customer service or product quality. Last time ill buy something from them. The customer service there is at the top of a shit list.
