s14 brake and light inspection w/jdm front

I have a brake and light inspection, will I pass with my s14 jdm kouki front bumper. They salvaged my car so I have to go to the dmv and get my car inspected. Does anyone know what's ahead of me?

As long as the turn signals are wired as functional sidemarkers....you will be fine....in my state atleast.

I still don't have my turn signals yet. But you can splice the sidemarker wiring with your turn signal wiring and use the sidemarker socket to power both bulbs on the turn signal. It's late and I forget what wire does what....but basically with this...you will have the turn signals light up like sidemarkers and blink when you use the use your turn signals.

OR

You can find some sockets that are used for the turn signal....cut the socket on the existing turn signal wiring...use the socket use just obtained...and insert it into the JDM housing...the bulb on the front..while the existing sidemarker socket goes to the bulb on the side. Does any of this make sense? If not I can take some pics tommorrow when I'm 100% awake.

I will also let you know what wire to cut and splice later on.

<== too tired now -_-

What you do is cut the black wire and splice it with the green wire from the turn signal wiring. What I used to splice and connect the wires are female and male connectors...along with wire tappies. Once you do this...you sidemarker will light up as usual...but when you use your turn signal switch..the light will blink like the turn signal light. The dark grey portion sidemarker socket disconnects and will plug into the JDM turn signal wire harness (on the housing) and you will have function sidemarker/signals. If you don't have any wiring with your JDM turn signals...you will need to find another pair of these sockets. You will use them to replace the existing turn signal sockets (you have to cut them off), then you can simply insert them into the JDM turn signal housing.

I wish could upload pics...but I'm over my limit.
