What shades do you rock?
Seeing as how i work on a saiboat I spend a good portion of my days are spent outside in intense light. I've been rocking some Oakley XXs for like 4 years but the other day one of the nose pieces fell off and into the water. So i decided it was time to switch it up a little bit. Picked up a pair of polarized Whiskers today.
What you guys rockin? |

Sounds like a sweet gig. I was hoping for a summer job where I go to lakes and streams and check mosquito larvae.... but the bas.stards never called back.
Sorry to get off topic.

never really wore sunglasses.
I did find a pair of leopard print classic oakleys back in the 90's though. I wish they never broke, cause I'd rock those all the time now [that I don't care if people think I'm gay for doing it]. I'm too poor to go buy leopard print sunglasses though... |

See, I can't see for shit without them, so I wear REAL glasses... I am a nerd who spends an above average amount of time in his car, so I needed something to meld the 2 sides of life together... I got a pair of Oakley Box Spring 2.0:
... with transitions lenses, so when I am indoors, they are like regular glasses, just a LITTLE darker than normal, and when I am outside in higher light situations, they get darker, GOD I love having a job with vision benefits. I pay 1 dollar per paycheck, every other week and I come out of pocket with 20 bucks and tax at The House of Eyes for new expensive-ass glasses and lenses.

I picked up a set of Oakly A-wire's about 4 years ago with prescription lenses. They were NOT cheap....but I've been babying them since and they are still in great shape. Also seem to still be "in" as far as styling goes. Also, Oakly does sell replacement nose pieces as well as the rubber pieces that go by your ears.
Phlip, looks like oakly came out with some better looking frames for "normal" glasses. I think I may need to check some of them out for my next pair! -Alex S.
