unstable voltage on sr
well my alternator went out on my sr so I replaced it and now im getting random voltage readings on my timer I know its not the timer because the lights on my dash are really dim. Started out normal charge 14.v then i hit boost voltage dropped and has yet to recover back to 14 now its running 10.5 and struggles up to 11.3 or so i have battery relocated to trunk replaced battery ground and terminals positive has a little green when i stripped wire to redo terminal so is suspect it has more.

they are all tight there is a small amount of corrosion through the positive cable though and there is a weird sound coming from under dash on driver side kind of like how a low gauge wire sounds when it shorts but I cant find it so annoying

Sounds like the power supply to the battery is faulty. Just get a dvom and check the positive on the alt and see what's the reading
