I've seen plenty of cars go into the drift at ButtonWillow...haha man, those tow hooks are very useful in that situation.
And the stuffed animal on the stock tow hook...such a drifter thing to do! i saw a teletubbie and others at drift day norcal a couple days ago. |

I guess I was born with dorifto style
A buddy of mine put a snowman head x-mas tree ornament thingy on my TA's towhook one night at a party. I also had the bracelet on the shiftboot before I knew what drifting was. A girl left hair-tie made of cats eye beads there one night, and it stayed in my car till I sold it.

You think they would photoshop in a picture of the track with the hooks
Too bad I don't see H+A's around here, maybe I would have seen this already. No worse than some of the 240 stuff I've seen though. Whatever floats your boat.

thats sweet. all 4 of the pics you posted are hot ass cars. nicer than 80% of the bucket 240s running around with the obligatory black primer. good job though.

FYI A tow hook is a required item on the car at alot of drift events in Japan...but My car has 4 stock ones, dont your USDM 240's have the 2 on the back below the bumper and two in the front?..They are tiedown points, but can be used as tow hooks as well

i mean they are useful if you really track your car all day and like ending up in the ditch but all i know is that on the US 240 s13 the rear left one sucks!!!

haha funny, i was just figuring out a spot to dremmel through my front bumper so i could put a tow hook on, rear as well. its because you don't have aero kenny so you're not worried about anything breaking while you're being towed

The stock tow hooks are not very good if the car is up to the axles in dirt. This happens frequently. I'm going to start bringing a shovel out to the track.
I wish every car had those higher tow hooks, or a cage (ultimate "tow hook"

well yeah, you have to remove the bumpers front or rear during tow. but still the higher tow hook can put your car at lesser of an angle, which might in turn save your exhaust etc. sometimes cars get knee deep in shit and the hooks are buried (oem ones) then what? uh-oh someone call "ricey honda tow hook" man cus he's about to save your ass.
