You can bottom out the strut into the bottom, if thats maxed out, you can lower it some more by lowering the spring collars some more. It'll change the ride of the car but if you just want to lower it more, then go for it. If you dont like the ride, you can always put it back up. Save you the money from buying springs if you end up being okay with the ride.

I am about to buy some SSR Formula Mesh wheels off of here from a guy in New Jersey. The sizes are (front) 17x9 0 offset (back) 17x10 +13 offset. I am currently on BC br series coilovers with camber plates. I am ready to pull and roll fenders for this setup, which would still have some poke with negative camber, but still want to keep stock body since I don't want to run a body kit. So, I called a resurfacing company and sent some pics of the wheels to see if they could restore them, and they said yes, but they also said they had the 17" mesh centers and could make custom barrels for me with any offset and width.
My question is should i just buy the wheels off of here and get the aggressive stance i'm looking for or have new ones made. Also, what would be a better width and offset for the new barrels if i still want a nice lip and have a little poke. Plus, the remade wheels are going to be a lot cheaper and will be restored. Thanks for any input. |

I'd run the ssr just because they are ssr and with +0 and +13 run a 205/40 front and 215/40 rear and camber also forsure your gonna need a pull. If you want a different size with what the refinishing place has it depends on what size barrel they have. So when you figure that out it can make it easier to pick.

Thanks for the input, talked to the shop today and they are getting a quote ready for me and they can do any barrel size, the only thing though is they only have one shade of gold they use to resurface the wheels and it looks more of a yellow, then the copper gold color ssr meshies have on em. I tried looking up the paint code for the mesh gold but no luck.

I have searched and searched but cannot find the answer to my question.
I am going to buy wheels for my kouki. I need to know what is the most aggressive size and offset wheels I can run under rolled fenders. I DONT WANT TO WIDEBODY OR PULL. I am thinking of buying some ssr sp1s in 17/18 or 18/18, anything with alot of lip. I dont mind running alot of camber or stretch. If anyone could tell me approx. low offsets/width I could run, I would appreciate it. |

For example: http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/w...2/VSKF_PDF.pdf If you look in there, you can see how different disks will change how much lip you have on the rim, even tho they're the same widths. Quote:
Good rule of thumb to follow is 9j +9 for the front and 10j +10 in the rears. Easy enough to remember. |

What would the fitment be like with staggered xxr 527's 17x8.25 and 17x9.75 on an s13 hatch with kyb agx suspension. I'm looking for a larger tire because I think it might look nicer since the cars not on coils yet.
I like the way this looks. he used a 275/40/17. Picture of my car for reference... Would it fit? Would it rub? helpful feedback appreciated |

+18 barely clears fronts depending on your coils. I would say +15 to be safe. 225/40 would be a great stretch. You'll need to run around 3-3.5* of camber. This doesn't include things necessary to fit the wheels. You will need to work with a big fucking hammer a lot.

Why would change the tires? Rubbing to much? What? Looks OK from the pics. Maybe if you run less camber you can run those size tires.
