I cannot say much for hang out spots right now as my 240 is not on the road, but glad to see another one local here.

Hey guys I'm in need of a KA24de block for my S14. It hit 250K miles and decided it wanted a fresh motor Anybody know of any junkyards with one in it or if one of you personally has a KA left over from an SR swap or anything. If you can help me out just get ahold of me at 870 758 2590 anytime day or night, text or call. Thanks, Chris.

Just to let all the locals know, there is a slightly modded 240 at a car lot on Braodway and Smothers in NLR. I think it will go for a fair price. I have not stopped to actually check on it though.

Lately I have been seeing more and more 240's running around the Little Rock area. An s13 coupe and a hatch as well as about four or five s14's really making me want to get my hatch back on the road.

One day, hopefully not too far off we should get this organized here in the state and get as many together as can get there. Have a cook out or something down by the river. Mine is out of running condition right now as well, but I would still like to be able to check out other rides and talk with others into the same vehicle line as I am in. Right now mine is down till I get the KA24DE installed and running. The old KA24E is dead in the water. If all goes well with my wife getting a new job, then I should have a place to wrench on mine by the end o the year. The hatch that I saw recently was a tthe Best Buy in NLR and was a clean looking mildly modified one.

It's kinda hard to organize a meet but it can be done. I've been going to the VW Festival in Eureka Springs for the last 4 years, people come from all across the US to the meet, and it's been great every time I've went so it's not impossible to do. It's just gonna take people to be dedicated to setting up a meet that is comfortable/feasible for a majority of people. If we did it at/near a track it would help bring in some guys I'm sure but idk of any actual race tracks in Arkansas, plenty of drag strips but not much as far as real tracks.

True, the only tracks I have seen around are the drags. Maybe we can find a shop with a dyno for a tuning day or something like that.

It's possible but I only know of a few shops around Arkansas with dynos. There is one is Paragould, one in Little Rock (North Little Rock?), and then I believe there is one in Fort Smith area. I'm down for even just a meet where we could chill, meet some guys with similar interests, and then go on a cruise if somebody knows of a really fun, good, safe road to drive that we could ride through.

Haha same here...If I don't get it done it looks like I'll have to drive the 77 Corona to the meet. At least it's rwd too though so I'd be ok lol. If we get something together I know of an SR20 swapped S13 hatch, a KA S13 hatch, an S13 Coupe, and my S14 if it's running by then though that would go down for a meet from up here.

Don't feel too bad, I'm sporting my 81 Chevy truck till I get mine back on the road.

I've seen a few nice 240's around town. Never been to a meet though as I work all the damn time.... They do have meets from time to time in the parking lot of War Memorial Stadium for small events. I am going to try to make it to the next one.
