FS: LS1 V8 240 Complete Swap, EVERYTHING needed minus motor set, SUPER CHEAP!!! Pics
Going a different route, so selling absolutely everything you need to swap a ls1 or any lsx motor into a 240sx. All of this came out of my personal running ls1 240 so this is a complete swap kit, nothing else needed but a motor, tranny, and pcm... that's it! No guessing or buying random parts here and there and piecing together different parts that may not work with each other. Also, everything is basically brand new.
What's all included: - modified front cross member to clear GTO oil pan - aluminum corvette motor mount brackets - Energy Suspension polyurethane motor mount bushings - Energy Suspension Polyurethane tranny mount bushings - tranny bracket - GTO oil pan (needed to clear cross member) - GTO oil pickup - Ceramic coated custom headers with welded v-band flanges - full converted wire harness, clean and routes like factory - beefy 3.5" aluminum drive shaft ( has a mark from rubbing a v-band clamp on my exhaust, check pic) - custom aluminum fan shroud - brand new dual ls1 fbody electric fans, flows 10,000 cfm vs 2,500 cfm with flex-a-lite fans - stainless steel braided high pressure power steering line - AN fittings for high pressure power steering line - return power steering line - stainless steel v-band clamps for headers - GM MLS exhaust manifold gaskets - upper and lower radiator hoses fitted for ls1 when using ka radiator - temp. sensor adapter with fitting and hose - all bolts and hardware - I may be forgetting a few things, but those are the main parts SOLD to future P.S. I do not post here often, so if you are not comfortable with my post count, check my user name (D.Jones) on ls1tech forums. I have been a member on there for years, have a lot of posts, and 100% positive trader rating. Pics: Last edited by D.Jones; 03-17-2012 at 09:00 AM.. Reason: sold to future |

after I get everything off, I'll take measurements and weight it and try and get a shipping quote to Texas and a base price to other places. I will probably be keeping the ac lines, but if you buy the swap kit, I might sell them. ds13: sorry to hear about that man, I heard nothing but bad things from DAFT. As of right now, I would like to sell as a whole swap kit, but maybe if I get enough buyers for a few of the big things, I may part it out. |

Very interested ...what ac compressor did you use?...looks to be a zenki...how hard would it be to make that harness work with a kouki...and did you have to beat the shit outta your firewall to clear the tranny?

Thanks everyone for all the interest and all pm's have been replied. Yes, it was a zenki AC compressor. It will be very easy to convert the harness to a kouki as the top main engine harness will remain the same and only the lower harness from the kouki will be used... I believe only 3 plugs are needed for the lower harness from a ka.
And absolutely no hammering of firewall or tunnel is required because the mounts are designed to sit low and place the engine perfectly in the bay. Also t56 shifter lines ups perfectly with no cutting of factory shifter hole. |

No adapter bracket was used or needed. With the use of any F-Body (camaro or trans am) shifter, it lines up great. A GTO shifter will not fit because it is to long.
I have everything pending including my complete motor set, I will update the thread if that goes through or not. |

replied to the thread on silviav8forums and I'll do the same here, I am interested solely on the headers. I have the funds in hand to purchase them if you do decide to part this out. Please keep me informed. Thank you

$3k is firm. If you price out everything that I'm including and try to buy it all from online websites or other places it will cost you almost double of what I am asking. Also, you must understand that $3k is shipped and PayPal, and as you can image shipping an entire front cross member along with all the other parts like hearers, drive shaft, oil pan, etc... will not be cheap. Plus PayPal fees will take out about $100 alone.

It was in my s14. The main wire harness is for the ls1 motor so it will work in either s13 or s14. If you have a s13, I believe only the lower harness is different, which only 3 plugs off of your ka lower harness that will need to be used.
