Custom driveshaft with q45 end mounted on s14 differential
Hi guys,
I'm doing a 2jz into a s14. My brother bought a q45 ended driveshaft for my car by accident and there not letting me return it. My s14 doesnt have a q45 differential, and I don't plan on having one at this time. What options do I have to get the driveshaft to work with the 240sx s14 differential that is on there? Please help me, it's one of the last pieces of the puzzle for me. Thanks, Randy |

does anyone know if i maybe can use a q45 input flange on the s14 differential? I read some where that using the s14 input flange on the q45 diff is possible. I don't know if its backwards compatible.

you can drill the 240sx drive shaft pattern on the q45 flange.
I have wondered if the flanges could also be iterchaged between the q45 and a 240 differential. because I heard the q45 is a 240 differential with bigger(stronger) output shafts but that would leave the input flange to be the same between the two and interchangeable. but Idk hopefully somebody else can shine in. |
