S14 VLSD Tear Down and Assembly
I decided to shim my s14 Vlsd to throw in my s13 while the open is getting welded. The diff itself is all together right but I’m not 100% sure it’s in right. It seems like there’s a small amount of play between the gear on the diff and the gear the driveshaft spins. I don’t remember if it’s normal and supposed to be like that. Any one have any ideas? I’ve looked at write ups but none show enough detail to show exactly how the bearings are supposed to sit with the diff itself.
