I just bought a used fuel pump and the new one has a hose on it that the old one doesn't.

New one:

Old one:

The old one isnt out of the thing that holds it yet but there is no orange hose like the new one. Why? What Do?

try one that does not have an orange hose. mistakes happen, you may have the wrong pump. im not 100% because they do look similar. whats under the hose? same as old one? if you are going for factory replacement, replace with identical parts.
