If I remember that should be the last item in the hole, before plates that the shifter in place. If you have the OEM plastic ring, you could use that instead. These fit both KA and SR. I had my Tomei on both.

Save your synchros, bin it.
A short throw shifter does not allow faster gear changes. It just changes the lever ratio between the stick and the forks. Shorter throw means more force needs to be applied, along with more precision. I have never seen that particular short throw, but it does look like tons of ebay jobbies, meaning it will also leak. That is caused by the design, not much to do to prevent it except cut and adapt some gaskets ... which, considering you cannot figure how to install this part, will be particularly hard to do. If you insist on installing this thing, better change the white pastic thingy on the end of the lever. It is cheap and easier to change now than later. Some people put a bronze part instead of the plastic part, i guess it slows wear. |

Best shifter money can buy for the KA/SR trans. I've tried many over the years. You basically install it like this
http://midnighttouge.blogspot.com/20...r-install.html The OEM boot can slide over the fat part of the shifter if you heat it up a little and put grease on it. |
