Alright I hope we all know of Matt @ ImportIntelligence.com. If not check it out. Anyways, I saw that you can get custom faces done at a extra fee. Go to http://www.bee.net/a2low240/gauges/installs.html to see what I am talking about.
Problem is I cant think of a design that would go good with my 240SX. I kind of like the first one with the blue and white "lightning effect" but its just not for me. My plan is to use some Blue Flake and Silver Flake Gauges that he offers, so if anyone has any ideas they could give me as to what kind of design to do on the gauges then please help me out! Even better, if your an artist draw some up! PS: I dont want nothing ricey looking, so keep the idea's clean please. The lightning one below is kinda to wild for me too. Here is an example... get creative! THANKS! |

Yeah, I know...that's the unforunate thing.
I'm still hoping that one day someone will grace us with that product. I see lots of preludes and integs with them and it is SOOOO unfair that we can't have them! |

I think I will order the normal silver flake and if I dont want it I will stick with the stock white gauges then paint the outer trim silver. Thanks everyone!

Hey Grant, I'll trade you my white-on-black for your black-on white. You've got an S14a right? 1995?

I decided to just get the Silver Metal Flake with no special custom work done. I also ordered the IntelliGlow Needles. I will write up a install once I get everything.
I have installed the Gauges before on my old s13 and it was tedious but worthwhile. For the $ they are excellent pieces. Here is a picture of them installed on the old 91 240sx. Notice I broke the little black cover of the Fuel needle while trying to take the needles off. |

West, I think simple is the best. Especially with cars like ours. gud choice.
About them needles...Can you please post the steps. I have the same car as urs. If you could add details like where you had difficulty i.e. I hear taking the needles off are a [email protected]#$% that would be wonderful. On your recommendation i'm gonna put in an order....wish me luck |

We should get them about the same time then. I will install them when I have a free weekend and then post some pics. I will be out of town this monday-friday so I will install them next sat when I get back. I will take pics of the install and everything for everybody

Too bad I'm late on the subject... Thought it might be neat to get these in silver metallic with the nissan logo in blue metallic under the speedo needle and the 240sx logo under the tach needle. Then again, I like simplicity as well...

Simplicity is a very good thing in cars these days. I thought about doing a small Nissan Logo under the tach or speedo but though it might look funny :\ O well. Silver should be cool enough with the Blue needles Thanks!

Heh, yeah, I've noticed! Then again, I've been a fan of the quiet "sleeper" more than the big wing, outrageous body kit, custom lights look. Though I did see a couple of S13s in the galllery at, I believe 240sx.com with an interesting headlight mod on em. True, logos might look a tad outta place and clutter the thing up... However, I wonder if it's possible to do the numbers\lines\letters etc. in blue and have the rest all silver? That, I think, wouldn't look funny at all.

Here's some pics of those headlights... They look a little weird, but I like the idea.

Well i kinda want full carbon fiber ones for my car (if they look real, not the fake painted ones), and I really wish I had reverse indiglo. VancouverS14, I don't think I'd want to trade. my tach needle is broken I think (it bounces going from 3-4k rpm) and is kinda of a pain in the ass to ship from south california, to canada (i live like 35 min from the mexican border)

whoa... those headlights remind me of the old Datsun! What i'd really like to do is get some headlights that look like the z32's headlights. Not projection, I want the whole plastic enclosure.
