S14 steering wheel removal?

Hey guys I am new to S14's and feel like a total newb but what do I do about the airbag? and also how do I trash the airbag in the dash without making a mess?

Also another gay question are the sway bars the same as S13's/R32? cuz I stole some ARC ones off my skyline if they don't fit then I guess they are up for sale

Pop the covers off either side, remove the T50 bolt behind each side and pull the airbag out, unplug and remove. Pull the M14 nut, remove wheel.

don't loosen the nut on the steering wheel completely.. keep a few threads

wedge your legs underneath the steering wheel and lift up towards you while loosening the nut.

for air bags have fun and hook them up to a battery , throw them away after

Yeah thanks guys!!!! yeah i know I have to leave the nut semi tight so i don't fuck my face with the steering wheel lol.

Yeah I just never worked around air bags before on my skylines or S13's shit was so basic I just didn't want a airbag accidentally going off in my face.

But if anyone wants the airbag and steering wheel I will post pics of condition and I will be gutting most of my other interior parts. interior door pannels, rear leather seats, center console. Stock cluster and everything else Is all going. Suspension everything its a fire sale lol.

Maybe for someoneg that's just trying to put it back together after a small fender bender, but the stock S14 wheel is hideous, and won't fetch much cash...

They were on the car, we discussed the entire suspension parts.
I purchased the car then left it there to go get wheels / insure it
Take it to the shop and magically they're gone
hmmmm

First things First you should ALWAYS disconnect the battery before doing anything with airbags b/c you could trip the system and next thing you know you have a broken Nose or wors a tool stick in your face.

You should let about 30min to 1hr for the system to deEnergize. GL
