awesome.. carl is the next hubinette of justdrift. hey carl, if you need a cage, henry schelley is a good fabricator. he can make you a cage in your z and keep your stock interiors too. well.. maybe. but most of it at least!

Carl, it was nice hanging out and watching you drive this weekend. It's me Chris. It was cool to see how fast you learned how to drift and at such an advanced level. With some more seat time and a better set up car, I could see you becoming a professional level drifter in a very short period of time. As for next round, HTM might be a tough course to link with a stock Z but I'm not 100% sure of that because I've only driven a stock z one time. If you find the right line on the judged section of the course, you can probably complete it without straightening out. With the skills that you learned at balcony, I'm sure you can pull it off.

Again all creds to instructing and support... and seeing you guys drift around out there was pretty cool. I have a long way to go but I look forward to the trip! More seat time is key this year! Round 2 is a definite.

Also on the hunt for a car I can dedicate to toss around, one that I can put on a major diet without regrets. So could use some quick advice here... although this might be a bit OT here... is a Long Wheelbase 300zx on a real diet and setup to drift going to cut it for a while, with the 3.0L Twin Cam engine (tweaked to about 235-240 hp)?

I realize a TTurbo would be helpful but I see that as a problem for the future, for now I just want to learn and gradually build the car like I want it = looking like something that escaped from a GT race (quoting my brother).

my friend drifted his z32 back in the day. said it wasnt bad.
but a 2+2 is good for wheel base but all USA 2+2 are NA.
