Just wondering what you though about shift knobs.
I think of them as a performance part. They have the really large affect on how accurate and quick my shifts are. I'm still looking for the perfect one...

I think there is nothing wrong with the stock one (atleast in the S13)
BUT if I was gonna keep my car I would get a new one for looks and for better shifting.... I still voted fashion though. |

I can see where both of you are coming from. I voted fashion, but thats just because I shift with my hand on the very top. I guess I could see where having a too big shift knob or something would get in the way when you're trying to shift though...

i cant see it being a performance part at all, i dont see how it can help with either, handling, motor hp or braking

it's not really a performance part in the aspect that it makes you go faster. but i think shifting is more enjoyable without that vibrating vinyl dildo. my big metal ball is much better.
i think you know what i answered dave. |

Anyone remember that pic posted a while ago, where there was a dildo as a shift knob?? Id say thats more styling than performance, unless she likes the vibrate function to put that extra hp to the wheels <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Id say both, cause a comfortable grip makes all the diffrence when youre going thru the gears. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

I would say that it is both but....only if the knob is weighted I have a gunmetal Razo Ball type that weighs 154grams it is more than stock and it takes less effort to push around through the gears.
