my friend crashed my car into a tree...

Car is in body shop waiting to repair
the front bumper cover
pull the core support an inch forward
need new passenger fender
need pop up lights
need new windshiled
need new hood
need moonroof (broke into pieces....)... GOing to weld a piece of metal plate there.

Need to get the car realigned, too.

- filthy engine bay
-17 year old paint (especially drivers' side)
- brake dust MUST be cleaned every week (but should be every week)
- junkyard engine should probably be checked for necessity of head gasket
- broken coolant bleeder screw (new one is where back seat used to be)
- amassment of spare parts in house carport
- driver single and more than willing to accept it in the face of not being able to play with the car
- owner spends FAR too much time on internet looking at/car parts

-My windshield is pitted from having crap flung from sticky tires directly toward it
-My brakes aren't 13" in the front and 12.2" in the rear
-I don't have my carbon diff in yet

Now that its my DD again i notice more:

-insanely annoying exhaust rattle
-stalls on occasion (think the maf is too close to turbo)
-no tread on rear tires (making boost in the rain is interesting)
-leaky valve cover, oil pan, and transmission
-bent subframe (perfect alignment though)
-need to change kaaz oil
-smic hole isnt big enough
-smokes under full boost (need oil catch can)

Got a exhuast leak today and also something started rattling inder the car, sounds like a heat sheild.

wow and i thought my car was in bad shape

dents on the body and the passenger side headlight
need new tires all around (threads are even showing on the fronts)
ball joint on driver side needs replacing
needs a new paint job
needs new transmission (synchros are very grindy in 2nd to 4th gear)
smelly carpet (or something that has died somewhere in the car) needs to be taken care of
power steering leak
random rust here and there (already took care of the awful frame rust)

21. stupid JB welded oil return to pan ( I didn't do it)

23. No EGR = more codes
24. cigarette hole in pass seat (I didn't do it either)
25. battery acid eaten floor mat(rear, I DID do it)
26. my entire exhaust is 1 piece (turbo back) so its a PITA to change ANYTHING on the exhaust side..
27. Need alignment and coilovers adjusted
28. SUNKEN BATTLESHIPS! (see sig)

ac is busted
car rattles like a crackhead needing a fix
rear tires rub on hard corners
clock backlight doesnt work
my clutch switch that lets me start the car is busted so i have to use a drill bit to push it in to start my car
linkage from cluth pedal to clutch master cylinder is busted i had to jerry rig it to be able to drive
need an alignment
need an oilchange
missing a bolt from my diff to my passenger side output shaft
havent washed or vacuumed my car in over 6 months....


but i still love that car more than life itself.
