Been there before....ITS HELL!
Constant 12V+ - Red/Black Switched 12V+ - Blue Illumination - Red/Blue Dimmer - Red/Yellow Left Front (+) - Blue/White Left Front (-) - Blue/Yellow Right Front (+) - Brown Right Front (-) - Brown/White Left Rear (+) - Red Left Rear (-) - Green Right Rear (+) - Purple Right Rear (-) - Pink ...maybe that will help, then you will have to find out which wires are which on the head unit.

I'm good with which leads go to which speaker now! Thanks guys!
but the power I'm a bit confused cause this threw me off: DSC_0056 by wilwmak, on Flickr DSC_0055 by wilwmak, on Flickr The .pdf install guide: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/CDX...stallation.pdf States that the Red wire should be +12V Ignition and that Blue is "Antenna REM" (dunno) But in the wiring coming from the car, Blue is connected to the Red and along the Red wire there's a 20A fuse..:S help? |

Yes their M8 and very short! also the antenna wire is used for power antenna if you have one. The blue wire coming off the red wire was most likely a remote turn on for an aftermarket amplifier.

Ok worst comes to worst I can cut M8 screws down to size lol.
So I can just unhook the red wire from the blue wire and use the red wire like its supposed to right? What do I do about the 20A fuse thats spliced into the red wire? |

Cut and splice using the red wire, keep the fuse. you dont need the fuse but it will protect your headunit so why not.
