Not really a big update just did my measurements on the block/pistons/bore's everything looked good! no play at all on the bores

pistons were all good measured and in spec

freezeeeee plugs taken out for new ones

cleaned the block again! tomorrow gonna be measuring the crank n what not so I can order the bearings

Comparison cleaned my pistons n obviously the old dirty ones nice n squeaky clean





tossed the block in the hot tank



and after pretty happy with it gonna paint the outside high temp silver to match





measured the bore with a dial bore gauge everything turned out perfect




celebrate with ramen sooo good also got the new issue of drifting tengoku and option 2



last 2 weeks of class i still have to get my

i went with the same valvetrain but with 272/272 int/exh.. did you get cam gears also?

when you cut the valves you really should have cut atleast 30, 45 and 60. Notice that it had two angles stock, you want the 30 and 60 so that the contact patch is smaller give you a little more room for air in the combustion chamber as well as a smoother air flow. The valve with just a flat 45 will create resistance. Did you cut the seats as well? Im sure you lapped them to see where and how they were seating to make sure they seal up good. Good work though, nice to see other people to engine work themselves too.

yeah like i said this was just a copy paste lol but i did cut the valve another 60 no need on the 30 because when i lapped them it was SPOT ON if i grinned it another 30 i woulda had to grind the seat again the seats i did cut 30 45 60 but not as deep or as much because tbh the head was parfect actually this whole block was and thanks for the kind words


Only reason why i went with BC was because i got a great deal on them from here hhaha i did not get the cam gears but i will soon after i buy stuff for the car lol

measured the crank, bearings, rod bearing clearances ill tell ya 3 angle measurements on a crank 5 mains took FOREVER!!!

didnt take pics of the crank measurements cuz it sucked but heres the torque sequence of the sr and it was pretty shitty too the extra 75 degree sucks but yeah heres the sequence and the whole block

Cleaned up the garage today but didn't really finish it. Tried to put the stock suspension on the fronts I got were shitty so ill just put the stances I get on black friday on, fuck stock shit car is on jacks looks sad =/ got my wheels ordered got my aero coming cant wait 2012 is gonna be extra rowdy

Put the whole head together minus the gaskets!

Well almost done with the motor! all I need are the ACL main/rod/thrust bearings/Cosworth head gasket/gasket set/ and arp bolts! pavel is gonna re check the motor bore it out for the new CP forged pistons

so i need some input here i wanna have a reliable 350ish or more or less power right now i have BC 264 cams and valve train stock bottom end forged pistons came in to question with stock rods i don't wanna spend what i don't have to after blackfriday im running low on funds

so should i get forged or stay stock with the power i want

for 350 you can stay stock. But since you have it broken down, go ahead and put new rods in... why not. haha
Nice Wing by the way, i just sold mine.
With a T28 and some boost you should be at or above 350 since you have built up the head an all.

My shop car has got the same setup as mine but with a gt30 instead of a gt28 making mid 400s on E85 with the stock bottom end and it's been together for a few years.. but if you have the cash i say go for it!

Mail man I LOVE U =] Cosmetic multi layer head gasket and a binb s14 sr water pump got a deal on em 90 for both









Came up on these!! pretty much brand new stance RUCAS!!! the guy had a s14 bought stance coils toe and rucas he sold the s14 n was selling the stance stuff as a set I found on zilvia now he has a s13 he did not know that rucas can work with s14 and s13 lol I saw a offer that said 150 for the rucas so I texted him and said 100 picked up right now he actually dropped them off at my work anyway so he showed up once he gave me the rucas and I gave him the money he said you know they are for a s14 right and I said yes but did you know that s13 and s14 rucas are the same thing before that I called Touge factory they make stance and double checked and I was right. Today I went there and apparently the original owner called them to double check and I got a text later that day if he can buy the rucas back and give me megan rucas for free and I said nope thanks for the hook up hommie!





After touge factory I went to mitsua for lunch!! got the usual katsu curry and the new drifting tengoku and option 2 came with a dvd! womp

Picked up my stances today TF Dave switched some stuff around on my stance gr+pro I forgot what he told carlos to do to it haha but I guess its a moded GrP pro plus I switched out the stands on the gt wing it had the medium one and Dave swapped me out for the tallest ones

My second set of stances First car had stance then I got this new car had some emotor usa shitty coils felt like my teeth were gonna jump out of my mouth every time I drove on it. Now got my second set =]









Got the HIGHEST stands im prolly gonna mod the wing to do a wide mount see how it fits first

So I bought this Origin lab 3D type 2 gt wing at the Touge factory black friday sale MSRP is like 1200 I think I got it for 375. Why so cheap? beacause race car no jk lol because the top part of the wing came off and was broken I looked at it and MAN THIS IS A EASY ASS FIX so being me I could NOT pass up a deal like this

All I used was a drill and small self taping screws and epoxy im gonna re rivet it when im not lazy the screws are temporary





I popped the rivets off at work and epoxied it there










BAM done =] now I gotta pick up the highest mounts for free dave said to come in monday when I pick up the coils and he will swap it for free
