there were plenty........ but most of them were just jaws dropped and bewildered looks at a girl even driving a 240.Then even more confusion of her being able to talk car, and worse knowing more about the 240 that the SR owner asking stupid questions.

My G gets less confused looks, but they still think that since it is 6spd it must by my fiance's......

I've had people say is that a v-6 after i mess around in it doing pulls or sliding around. I had a cop pull me over asking if i was featured in fast in the furious, saying and i quote "what are you doing out this late(dressed in my work clothes) are you going to go around drifting that evo doing illegal stuff on my streets" LMAO i started laughing at the cop. *exhaust ticket was rewarded for doing so =/ lol*

I've been pulled over every time i try and drive past a town around by me saying my car is not safe to drive and my suspension is broken for how low it is. He asked me if i wanted to get it towed. Mind you i'm not as low as most people are.

People around my parts are ignorant. I don't mind simple questions b/c i will just give simple answers, but it's the ones that try and prove something and just make themselves look ReTaRdEd. I once was a noob but seriously not that bad. If you were to simply read car magazines you would know the basics of any car to make good conversation.

The other day I had an older gentleman come and ask how big my wheels/tires were. I told him the specs, then he changed subjects and said something along the lines of.....

"Yeah, me and my son just bought an eclipse and it's got that ground effects kit. It sits too low, did you lift your car? What kind of lift kit did you use?".....I have stock suspension, with a wheel/tire combo that makes the car sit just a little higher than OEM (Coil-overs are coming this Fall/Winter) :'(. After all said and done he was like "What kind of car is that? Is it an Acura?" Go figure! I'm asian and it doesn't look anything like a Civic so he guessed Acura lol.

While camping this summer, there was a kid with a 180 at the campground. His car wasn't in the greatest shape.

"Yey man, do you own the white 240?"
"Yep, that's mine."
"Okay, cool. I've got a question for you."
"Let's hear it."
"Where's the powersteering thing? I can't find it, everything is written is fucking japanese."
"Okay, on my car it's on the right hand strut tower. I don't know if yours is the same or not, but try that."
"Yeah, i know where my bov, clutch fluid and brake fluids are but not the ps fluid. Can you come take a look?"
"Yeah, I guess."

we go to his car but he can't get the hood open.
"Let me know if you get it open, I'll look for you."

Two days later i ask if he got things figured out and he responds with
"Yeah... I don't think the fluid was the problem. It's like clunking and stuff when I turn the wheel."
