looks good but not gangsta... running close to stock offset kinda takes away the reason for running aftermarket wheels..

i'm so tired of hearing ppl complain about FNs.
Hell, I should go find a set of Racing Hart C5s just so I can hear ppl call THEM played out again. Knowing my luck, they'd be called "cool, 'cause they're oldschool". FNs are good wheels that come in good offsets and sizes for good prices. Why gives a shit who has them... this isn't a popularity contest. It's not 'see who can be the most unique'. |

I think the sizes are great....It may be close to stock offset but it is 2 inches wider than stock up front as well....That makes a HUGE difference. Do you guys not look at the pics and just say they are close to stock?

The rear offset is fine...10 wide w/ anything lower would be too much for the stock fenders. The fronts however are a bit too low for my tastes. I think the FNs come in a +15 as well for 9" wide, which would have been a better choice. However, either way, they are good sizes.

i donno if you've ever felt the difference but there are both positive and negative effects of severly: 1. increasing height of wheel/tire 2. increasing width of wheel/tire 3. increasing weight of wheel/tire 4. increasing track width of the entire car driving feel is altered drastically

Ok. What the hell is wrong with you guys. That is a hot car. I don't even know why most of your are complaining about played out wheels. Yes, your mom probably owns a set, but who cares. THEY'RE AFFORDABLE!! and come in a GREAT VARIETY of sweet offsets, and lastly will most likely clear 12pot calipers. Isn't that why MOST of the 240sx community have these wheels? The car is nice. The only thing that really makes it look like shit is the resolution. I bet you'd get more positive responses if you had a higher res camera.
The wheels are flush, the tires are stretched, it looks very agressive. I'm sure anyone who sees you driving your car around town, or even at the gas station would take a second look, and think "whoa those wheels make the car looks like a beast". IMO offsets are pretty much perfectly matched with that car with no major fender modding. I have the same width wheels, just a slight bit lower offests. I don't think they look anywhere near "mexican wire wheel" status.. I'd post a pic, but most of you are probably tired of seeing my car anyways. haha |

I don't like FN's, but it's not my car and not my money buying them, so..
Enjoy your car, have fun with it, and do whatever you want with it.

the cool thing about fns, are since they don't really have a lip since they have deeper hubs with lower offsets, etc, if you decide to go lower offset in the future you can just get spacers and it'll look the same. i give it a thumbs up. the rears are fine i think. i'd take 'em.
