Z32 N/A starts than turns off.

Hey guys. I have a 1990 300zx N/A and I just changed the spark plugs and now when I turn it on, it starts than dies right after. I made sure that everything is plugged in correctly and bolted down, but now I am stuck.

Sorry if this has been posted before.

Thank you.

Posted this on the Engine tech list as well.

It might be a bad vacuum leak.

How does it idle? is it jumpy?

Also could be a fuel problem but I would check vacuum first.

With things like this you need to see if your car is getting fuel (this means gasoline and air), compression and spark. We can eliminate compression because you said it starts.

Try some troubleshooting.

Start the car then keep your foot on the gas till it warms up a bit. does it stay on after if it stay on the most likely culprit could be IACV or AAC

is your idle jumpy? disconnect maf and start car... any difference?

Also check your fuel pressure

If you just changed plugs, then re check the gap and all the vacuum hoses attached to the cross over tube and fuel pressure regulator. If it wasn't doing this before, then it is something you did.
