okay i just bought a R32 GTR wing maybe 2-3 weeks ago i just got it in and im not 100% sure that its reall maybe u guys can help me out and lmk .. cause this thing isnt fiber glass witch thats a good thing but its plastic so yeah

.....

also i thought it would just bolt up? as in of course id have to make the holes ... but no the inside parts the boldt on dont sit all the way down, so since the side ones sit higher they dont let the ones that bolt in sit on the car at all .. any ideas?

now that i look at it, no it's not my wing has Studs on it. so I asume that is some sort of knock off. because mine had 2 10mm studs on each side. and the gap was nowhere near that big.

it was shipped from japan and i was told it was reall !!!!!!!!!!!!!! hey how does urs sound when u tap/hit the middle is it kind of like plastic and sounds like an echo? ....... also any ideas on installing it?

and its actually exactly 1 inch off the car just that inthe pix it made it seem higher

nah mine is a 2 piece. unlike yours that is a one piece. mine sounds pretty damn solid. and it has holes on the bottom for any water that seeps in to leak out. as far as Ideas go. I would say try and have some aluminum blocks made and attach them to the wing with some fiberglass / kitty hair (assuming you screw it on first.) and then have the machine shop tap the block so you can put some 10mm bolts on there to hold it to your trunk.

ok the deal with this wing
I bought it from a local shop, it was on a spraypainted black r32 GTR
they took it off and sold it to me, and i sold it to him

It has 4 nuts in the bottom for bolting it down...no need ot fab shit.
it was removed from an R32 gtr.....and my boys GTR wing is exactly the same...

yes in deed it does have 4 holes on the bottom 2 on each side ... im just now trying to figure out how to maske it sit on the car .. cause its a whole inch away from the car so i wanna see what it is i need to do to make it fit .

yeah i removed mine from my old Boss's GTR (lol I repoed that shit) mine didn;t have that gap though. but it does say NIssan on it so i know its an OEM wing. it's just weird i guess. maby an older/ newer 32 design?

i will never be a direct bolt on from a different car...

well i knew it wasnt gonna be a dirrec bolt on ... thats why im trying to figure out how to install it without having to do what barbe said ... attach aluminum blocks and so on cause that'll just suck

same reason honda market makes oem look alikes...so you can get it for cheaper than factory prices

anyways any ideas on how to install it besides adding aluminum plates to it?

why would it being made out of plastic be strange to you? what did you expect? metal? wood?

It looks aftermarket, some company decided to make a slightly more aggressive version of the OEM design. I'd just cut the ends shorter and bolt it on. But then again, I wouldn't try to attach a skyline spoiler to my 240.

about not even a 1/8 inch thick its thin..
and axiomatik i didnt expect it to be made out of metal or wood i expected it to be made out of whatever material oem wings are mad of and there solid also .. but maybe this is an aftermarket one thats all i can base it on now ... im fine with that now ... now im just tring to figure out how to install it ... oh and the reasone i want a skyline wing is because i wanted a wing and didnt wanna put a wagan wing like alot of my friends thats why ... thank u for ur help

okay i just took off the foam / tape it had on the sides and well its 1/2 inch off the car now and if u looks closely to the sides there slanted so that's what makes it high also ... any idea on how to make it flat ? i think by makeing it flat it'll actually sit on the car and the inside parts that bolt up will almost be toughing the car then i can use some foam/tape on there .... what do u guys think and suggest?

k i got it to fit, not installed yet but i got it to work i sanded it down like i said just the edges anyways i did get ripped off scammed whatever im a lil mad but what can i do about it now right? this thing is fiberglass i kind of all ready knew that but i had to double check and yes its 100% fake ... man how about a small refund yokotas13 because i was told it was reall and i payed for a real one and recieved a fake one ?
